Moonlight is a free supposedly compatible version of Microsoft Silverlight.
Technology and use
Moonlight supports Silverlight 1, which by now is only good for showing "Please upgrade to Silverlight 2" messages - just as the Flash Player 7 on Wii Internet Channel is only good for showing "Please upgrade to Flash Player 9" messages.
