Glurp
From LinuxReviews
Glurp is a simple GTK+-2.x based graphical client for the Music Player Daemon.
In bullet summary
It's got the basic features you can expect from very basic a client for MPD, but it's got nothing "extra".
Also, you can not drag and drop files from the song database to the playlist. No. You have to right-click and press "add selected".
- Glurp is too basic.
- It really isn't very user-frendly.
- It allows you to control a MPD, and that's about it.
Gnome Music Player Client or Sonata really are much better choices than Glurp if you are looking for a GNOME client for MPD.
